Taylor Lautner plays Nathan Harper, who seems to be your average partying teenager with the athletic body of a Spartan, but when  his parents are assassinated, Nathan is left to fend for himself with some help, while he uncovers the truth about himself and his family. As we all know, by the look of Taylor Lautner's body, that this is going to be an action packed movie. Now if you're going for that reason alone then you probably won't be disappointed. There are some really cool action sequences here and there that you would most likely say to yourself " that's pretty cool" but non of it stands out .
In fact, one of those " cool" scenes is used as a poster, therefore it's not even a surprise. Two weeks down the line, you probably won't remember the any of the action sequences you saw. with that being said, I don't believe you'll be too disappointed if you're going to see this movie with low expectations or if you've just seen Twilight and want a little more dose of Lautners. On the other hand, If you go in expecting to see some type of Mission Impossible, 007, or Bourne type movie then prepare to walk out angry. All of the depth or fun any of those movies have, is completely stripped from this film. Taylor Lautner is obviously not that best at acting and this is shown in spades here. You might be thinking " Well Sigourney Weaver is in this, surely she must have been good" . Let me put it this way, she tried her best but that was not good enough to raise the bar on this film. Especially since she was given some pretty goofy dialogue to present.
